Band: Electronic music produced by Eve, the sole purveyor of this act. VAV JUNGLE has 4 CDs to date - NEW SONGS out in December '06 Made music live, in-studio, for TV, Radio & Film and a NEW CD coming out in December '06. That's pretty! Vav Jungle has fans in Canada (hometown Winnipeg!), the States, in particular, New York City. - LOUD danceable sets for the bar, dance and get stinky - LOUNGE sets for smaller venues so smell good at this kind of show and order something that will hit you 1/2 hr. Band Members: Eve Rice - keys/vocals DANCERS - Supersonic Asses - Sigourney B. and Kara. B - The Fan-tab-u-les - J Suss - Rockin' Star - Sara O. MUSICIANS - Roddy Munoz - latin percussion (for some LOUNGE/LOUD shows) Murray Toews - Guest singer (for some LOUD shows) LIGHTING Simulacrum - Lights *All dancers and musicians (except for Eve of course) change for every show.* Influences: Bike riding, dreams, fishin', beaches, hair, life, local access television, a broken heart, healing by air guitar, musicians who love to wank, Zellers, underwear (when needed), girly drinks, private parts, vintage television (any year), theme songs, Viva Variety, Vic DeVille, The B52s, the elderly (they know lots of shit so respect them!), Devo, Grace Martini, Stereo Total, The Cramps, Brigitte Bardot, Serge Gainsbourg, Pizzicato 5, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Combustible Edison, Divine, Edith Massey, the tuna lady at Subway, Grace Jones, Nina Hagen, The Fur Ones, Hot Poop & the Group, Phantom of the Paradise, Yello, Soft Cell, Ursula 1000, stripper/ripper music from the past, burlesque exotic entertainers from the 30's/40's/ 50's/60's like Choo Choo Johnson, America's Unusual, dirty dirty thoughts, Jaimz Bee and the Royal Jelly Orchestra, pretend drugs, perverts that aren't good at being perverts, people who like to dance their asses off in particular - now that is nice! Very influencial things - oh, schnitzel with noodles. Almost forgot that. Sounds Like: The B52s (so people say, but 'Planet Claire' does get covered on the 2nd album), Depeche Mode, Yoko Ono, Nancy Sinatra, Pizzicato 5, Tom Tom Club - if the 60's had 80's/90's and beyond keyboards, this is what it would sound sorta' like - capishe? VJ also works with various artists and dancers. It's like one big strange family who's zodiac signs all compliment each other!
