Our preferred singing style is COUNTRY MUSIC, but we also have the ability to sing other styles. Because most venues have us working from 9:30pm to 2:00am we normally like to do 4 - 45 minute sets, with 30 minute breaks in between.

Because audiences in bars are very fickle, TANNIS and I have developed the ability to read such audiences, and give them more or less what they want. When this approach does not work to our advantage and feel we are sinking, all we do is switch gears and swamp them with one rock tune after another. One thing that we are very proud of is that we never do a show the same way twice. With over 500 tunes under our collective belts, we can certainly please more than a few people.

Spontaneity and flexibility has always been our forte, but if a venue such as a Casino, want a rigid show, in other words, (set your watches by what we will do next), it would be no problem. With all the material we have, it is nothing for us to organize such an approach.

When I do my duo with TANNIS, we call ourselves PUSS 'n' BOOTS. Because TANNIS has a day job, we can only do gigs within a couple of hours from Winnipeg, depending on the job itself. At present TANNIS is unavailable for the dates of the year of 2003 on:

Dec. 20, We have also, on occasion, do a trio which we call the PUSS 'n' BOOTS TRIO with an exceptional Fiddle Player by the name of Gilbert Donaldson. As a single, I book myself as Marc J. Anthony. I myself can sing over 200 songs, and I am constantly expanding my repertoire. I am extremely flexible, but if I refuse a venue, it is because I have experienced it, and found that we are not compatible. With the exemptions of Sept. 3 to 6 & Nov. 7 & 8, I am available as a single, duo, or otherwise. Because of my Midi equipment, I can also lead a few sidemen spontaneously or rehearsed depending on the resources I can pay them and the seriousness of the venue we are looking at. When needed, depending on availability, I can put together a variety of different acts. For certain, I will hire only very capable musicians.

When working with a group strictly of the masculine gender, I call the duo, trio or band "THOSE GUYS
