The HISPANIC DANCE THEATRE is a dance company devoted to entertain audiences by presenting and preserving all aspects of Hispanic dance form flamenco and folkloric Spanish dance to Latin American dances and fiery tangos. Its purpose is not only to showcase the dances as an art form but also to combine theatrical aspects, creating a full spectacle out of it.

In the past HISPANIC DANCE THEATRE has performed in such venues as the Gas Station Theatre, Royal Winnipeg Ballet Founders Studio, Pantages Theatre, Manitoba Theatre Centre, the Deaf Centre Auditorium, and the Empire Theatre in Grand Forks. In the summer of 1999, HISPANIC DANCE THEATRE had the opportunity to take part in the opening ceremonies for the Pan Am Games.

Some of HISPANIC DANCE THEATRE's repertoire include a full Spanish dance production, as well as smaller dance numbers such as the tango, merengue, the cha-cha, and many more. Each performance combines a spectacular mix of hot music, colorful costumes and talented dancers.

The show always includes lots of audience participation which is done with lots of flair and humour making this a crowd favourite. The group Artistic Director- PEDRO AURELIO graduated with distinction form the world renowned WINNIPEG ROYAL BALLET TEACHERS COURSE. His training began in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He also received a full scholarship to study with the Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, DC and performed at the Kennedy Center , the Spanish Embassy and in New York.

PACKAGES can include Tango, Taste of Spain, Hot Tropical Revues with up to eigth dancers fully costumed and always include an informative and entertaining MC.
